Prayers are Answered

Here are four secrets to answered prayer is based on the experience of faith of the Prophet
Nehemiah:
1. Pray Based on the character of God (Nehemiah 1:4-5)
Pray as if God has answered our prayers: "I believe you will answer my prayer O Lord because You are the God who Faithful. You are the Allah the Great. You are the God of Love. You are the God of Magic. You can solve this problem yes God!
2. Confess your Sins that We Realize (Nehemiah 1:6-7)
After the Prophet Nehemiah based his prayer on God's qualities, he confessed his sins. He said, "We have sinned." He said, "I confess ... myself ... The family ... We have sinned ... We did not obey." It's actually not Nehemiah's fault because he was not born when the nation Israel was carried into exile, he had been born when the nation was already in exile. But he involves himself for the sins of his nation. He said, "well me and the family have sinned." Read more...

3. Claim God's Promise (Nehemiah 1:8-10)
Nehemiah prayed to God, saying, "Remember the word that you message to Moses, thy servant, namely: If you are unfaithful, we will lose the promised land of Israel. But you promised that if we repent, you will give it back."
Does God need to be reminded of His promise? The answer is not necessary. Did he forget what he has promised? The answer is no. Then why do we have to remind the promises of God? Because it will be
helps us to recall the promises of God.

4. Pray with a definite purpose (Nehemiah 1:11)
If we expect a clear answer to prayer, then pray with a definite purpose. If the content of our prayers are general in nature, how can we know our prayers have been answered the Lord?
Nehemiah did not hesitate to pray for the success of his life. He prayed with boldness. Have you ever prayed, "Lord, make me succeed." If you have not, why not try it? Is it permissible to pray asking God to make us be successful? All success depends on our understanding of itself. I believe there is a great sense of success. Success is realizing God's purpose for our lives in faith, love and power of the Holy Ghost, and expect the result of the Lord.

This is the purpose of life, which means that we must pray with confidence. Secrets Behind What Not Answered Prayer James 2:3-4, Matthew 15:21-28. A friend of my fellow workers a day coming into our prayers and express a prayer before the Lord is very shocking to me. He said to God: "God ... this might be the last time I spoke with you. I have served thee in earnest. I have sacrificed time and busy-busy me to serve you, but today you disappoint me. You did not hear my prayer so that the values which I get in the exam this time was minimal. God ... please forgive me because I will not serve you anymore. Goodbye God! Amen. "And true, since the day he resigned from the ministry to date. In a counseling service, a never expressed to me about a very deep hatred for God. He felt that God does not love her and never cared with all the prayers he has prayed earnestly. He had prayed for his life partner, and tragically when her wedding day is a week away, her husband suffered a severe accident and ended with his death.
Two stories above are just a small part of the experience of believers in which the prayer was not answered by God. If we want to think about this more deeply, then we will find some of the possibilities in our prayer experience:
All of our prayers answered by God
All our prayers are not answered by God
Not all of our prayers answered by God
All of our prayers answered by God

There are people who say that in principle all of our prayers answered by God. No one else prayers are not answered by him. In every prayer God will always give three answers are "Yes", "No", and "Wait". For example, if you ask a child to God. If God had answered "Yes" then you will get a child. If God had answered "No", then you will not get the child, and if God answered "Wait", then it seems you do not have kids but actually you do not already have children or will have children.

Perhaps this opinion is true, but I think this is just a philosophical truth alone. Philosophically "Yes" or "No" or "Wait" is an answer, but empirically we must admit that if we ask anything to the Lord and He answered "No" then it means that our demands are not granted or is not answered. Thus empirically, the first possibility (all of our prayers answered by God) is not quite right or it becomes impossible.

All our prayers are not answered by God the second possibility was that "all our prayers are not answered by God". Is this likely be? Maybe there who think like this, but I guess if we are truly honest it really is not all our prayers are not answered him. Surely there our prayers are answered him. So the second possibility also becomes an impossibility. Not all of our prayers answered by God. If the possibility of the first and the second becomes impossible, then the only possibility which is probably the third possibility namely that not all our prayers answered by God. Not all of our prayers answered by God as well as not all our prayers are not answered by God. So there is an answer and some are not. And this is what is often experienced by the believer in prayer experience. Why not all of our prayers answered by God? Why did He answer some of our prayers and do not answer some of the others? Is not he himself who taught us about prayer? Is not that ensures their own answer to prayer for everyone who ask Him? Here we will look at some of the reasons why our prayers are not answered by God:

I. REASON FOR INTERNAL
Internal reasons are reasons that comes from within ourselves. So in other words there is something within us that makes God does not deign to answer our prayers. Is it? James says that it is a mistake that we do in and with our prayers.
"You want something but you do not get it, then you kill, you're jealous, but you do not achieve your goal, then you fight and you fight. You do not get anything because you do not pray. When you ask, you do not receive anything, because you are wrong to pray, for ye shall ask that you may spend on your pleasures "(James 4:2-3).
So according to James, there are two things that cause us to not get anything that is the first: because we do not pray and second: because of our wrong motives and causes of the two is what will be discussed in the context of our discussion. We are wrong to pray. Or prayer we are wrong. It means something is wrong or there are irregularities in our prayers. This is why our prayers are not answered by God. Then what is wrong with our prayers? I noted a few mistakes that we often do in our prayers and this is a barrier for answers to our prayers:

Errors in the nature of prayer
The mistake we often make in our prayers is an error in the nature of prayer. The true nature of prayer as taught by Jesus in "The Lord's Prayer" is a demand for what we need and not what we want. One example is "Give us this day our daily bread" Clearly this is a demand, and not just wishes. Indeed there is a very essential difference between what we need and what we want. What we need surely we want, but what we want is not necessarily (in fact almost certainly not) we need. The need is urgent, while the desire is not. The need, if not met would result in a variety of issues that are essential, whereas no such desire.
If we talk about the problems of desire, then let me ask you one thing "if you want to have a car?" If "yes" then answer the following questions as well "if you need a car now?" If we're honest, who among us has do not want to have a car, luxury homes, private planes, etc.? But the question for us now is "whether we need all we want it?" So it is clear that what we want is not necessarily we need. However, without being aware that frequent prayers we say to the Father in heaven more contain our wants than our needs.

A friend of mine really understand the difference between what he wants and what he needs. Many people want to give him, but that could be used for him to accept or reject the gift is a matter of necessity. Ever a person wants to donate a bike for him, but he refused and said "I really appreciate this gift, but forgive me because I have not been able to accept it. I guess I do not need a motorcycle today. Should sumbangkanlah bike to someone who needs ... "Similarly, anyone who ever came to him and wanted to donate a two-story house to him, but he refused and said gently that now he has not needed a big house like that. Go back two years from now who knows I've needed it. The Lord promised that He will answer our prayers, but the question is whether we ask it is our need or just a desire? If all this time our prayers are not answered, is it possible we are wrong in the nature of our prayers?

Errors in prayer targets
In the "Lord's Prayer" is said "Our Father who art in heaven ...". This means that the address is the true prayer to the Father in heaven. Maybe you say that you have often prayed to the Father in heaven, and was never wrong in the address of that prayer, but wait a minute. The problem now is not what you say but on how or what the motivation of your heart when you pray. Sometimes our mouth utters the words "Father in heaven ..." but the intent of our hearts is not so.

A child promised by the grandmother of a bicycle. But because she will not forget that promise, a time when the boy was about to eat, so he prayed "Father in heaven bless my food, and also please remind grandmother would promise to give me a bike (in a loud and hard). His mother, who heard his prayer saying "Son, why have to pray aloud. God's not deaf "" Yes mama, God is not deaf but not deaf grandmother "was the reply.

This story is enough to prove that sometimes our mouths utter the prayer, "Father in heaven ..." but the actual objective of the prayer was not to him but to others. Sometimes our mouths to say "Father in heaven ..." but the intent is to satirize the hearts of others, confront others or to announce something. I once fired an employee of the church for moral reasons. I forbade him to preach. Thus the monthly fee was discontinued. One time when I served out of town, the panel asked him to preach more than once, but it was still not given their honorarium. Because it is on a week day when he asked for prayers of intercession, he prayed as "God ... please thee unconscious shepherd and assemblies in this church so that they do not hold the rights of the poor ...". I know that while he insults and rebuke us by her prayers because we do not pay their honorarium even though he had been asked to preach a few times. It's called sinners prayer time. True prayer is a prayer addressed to the correct address. Addressed to the Father in heaven of our hearts. If our prayers are wrong address, then do not be surprised if our prayers are not answered by God. Is there a correct address of your prayers?

Errors in time of prayer
Another frequent mistake we make in our prayers so that our prayers are not answered God is a mistake in the prayer time. The idea involves two things, First: we pray for things that should not need us to pray, Second: we expect answers from the prayer as soon as possible. Examples such as a third grader who is very faithful to pray day and night to God to give him a mate. This is the wrong time for prayer has not been time for the third grader to pray for the problem mate. That is why prayer will not be answered by God. The issue in this case is not a God unable to answer, but do not want to answer because the answer of prayer that is too fast just to harm the prayer.

Take an example like this. You are a conglomerate, and you have a five-year-old child. One day the child asked for a private car to you. Do you grant it? If you grant it then you are a crazy father. Even if you could buy ten cars for him, you certainly do not want to buy because grant such application together with your child harm. Likewise God. Against the prayer of His children who have not been on time, he usually did not answer or grant it because he does not want his children having "accidents".
If until now you who do not have prayers answered by God, try correcting the prayer. Is there a prayer one time? Is there a prayer that is too fast for prayer? Or maybe it's not too quick prayer prayed, but you expect the answer as quickly as possible?

II. REASON FOR EXTERNAL
If an internal reason to talk about the existence of something from within ourselves that causes our prayers are not answered by God, then an external reason to talk about the existence of something outside ourselves that makes our prayers are not answered by God. Whether the causes are derived from outside of ourselves? The cause of it is outside our Lord Himself. The point is that God earnestly consciously chose not to answer our prayers because of certain reasons of his own self. Certain reasons, among others:
God wants to test the extent to which faith, perseverance and kesungguhnan us in the beg-Nya.Contoh about a gentile woman of Canaan (Matthew 15:21-28) might explain this idea. This woman came pleading to Jesus so that Jesus would heal her demon-possessed. But whether the reaction of Jesus? The Bible says: "But Jesus did not answer ..." (verse 23) may be the residence of Jesus is the greatest challenge of a prayer. More painful again the disciples asked Jesus to cast out this woman, and Jesus said: "... I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of Israel" and then He said also that: "... Not worth taking the bread provided for the children and threw it to the dogs. "

On the face of Jesus appear as a sadist, and not merciful, but if we can understand His heart full of love, so he really did not. He did and say things like that not because he did not deign to grant the woman but because she temporarily gave him a test of faith and earnestness. Does she really expect His help? Is he still going to survive in the petition, even though the circumstances do not allow? And the story relates that she had not the slightest shift of his request to Jesus.

When Jesus said that He came only to the lost sheep of Israel, women are not deterred even he approached and worshiped Jesus, saying "Lord, help me" (verse 25). When Jesus said that it is not worth taking the bread provided for the children and threw it on the dog, the woman was not offended and go, but he justifies the word of Jesus by saying "Yes, Lord, yet even the dogs eat of the crumbs that fall from their masters' table" (verse 27). Because of his sincerity, his faith and perseverance then Jesus praised him "Hi mom, great faith .." (verse 28) and his request was granted.

Sometimes this kind of experience that we experience in our prayers. We may just have been praying and God just remain silent. He does not seem to care about our prayers at all, but actually it was while giving a test of faith, perseverance and sincerity to us. Do we still ask Him in faith and sincerity even though it seems our prayers are not heard? Or do we quickly shifted from despair and request it. There are many prayers are not answered by God not because He is unable or unwilling to answer, but because there is no persistence, faith and sincerity in the person of the prayer. There are many prayers that go unanswered not because God does not care but because of His children did not pass the test of faith, perseverance and sincerity. Are there any you experienced it? God will treat us as adults. Another reason that makes God does not answer our prayer is that He will treat us as people mature in the faith. At the time I was a baby, when a mother cries straight up and meet my needs. A little shout means the presence of the mother. However, these circumstances would have been different when I was older. Not all direct my request was granted. Likewise, conducted by the Lord to us. At the time our faith was a child, so any direct our prayers be answered by him, but these circumstances can not take place continuously. He needs to exercise our faith to be more mature, and one way is by not answering our prayers, or answer it but it takes a very long grace period.

By not answering our prayers, then we will learn a thing that in this prayer is not our will that happen but it was God's will that happen. Not God who should follow us, but we have to follow him. People who were children in matters of faith is necessary in order to direct his prayers answered through the belief in God can grow, but the ones that mature faith is no longer rely on the answers to prayer, but his faith in the will and heart of God.

God knows better and devise the best for us. Sometimes also the Lord chose not to answer our prayers because He knew that our prayers may be wrong and lead to disaster for us if he hears our petition. Legend tells that King Midas King Midas was a very fond of gold. So he went into a cave and meditated there and begged the gods so that he can make gold by touching thing. Long story short his request was granted.

He went home with happy hearts, and when his fingers touched the chair, the chair was turned into gold, as well as tables, doors, beds, etc.. Once satisfied to see everything, so he began to feel hungry. When it comes to eating, the food turned to gold. When about to drink, the water turns into gold. Bingunglah it because she could not eat and drink. In between comes the confusion that his beloved daughter threw her arms around his daughter then immediately turned into gold. And now the king Midas realized that what he gained from the gods is not a blessing but a disaster.

If the Lord will answer and grant all our requests, it can bring disaster to us. That is why God is so selective in answering the prayers of His children. If the answer to that prayer can harm his child, then he certainly will not answer. If your prayers are not answered by God, while God may devise something more beautiful for you, and He will give it all according to His will and plan it.
