Divine Healing: Love of God for Every Believer

Health is indeed a most precious treasure. When a loved one suffering from sickness, then all efforts will be made, for the sake of healing. Ranging from medical ways to traditional. Not a few costs that rains, for the healing of a loved one.

In contemporary Christian life was known methods of divine healing. For instance, performed at the time of the TRC by certain servants of God. The characters are always used by God, among others: Smith Wigglesworth, Kathryn Khulmann, Moris Cerrullo, Reinhard Bonnke, Benny Hinn, Peter Youngren, John Hartman, Niko Njotorahardjo and others.

If we read the Bible, divine healing (miracle), is an inherent part inseparable from the ministry of Jesus and the Church. Miracles often accompanies the saving work of God to Israel in the Old Testament era. The same pattern continued in the New Testament times. The central figure is Jesus. After the ascension of Jesus, the era of the apostles, their service is always marked by the occurrence of signs and wonders.

The question is always raised is still there miracles today? Although not a new doctrine, divine healing story broke back in line with the rise of Pentecostal-charismatic movement. Despite the ups and downs church even once lost in the darkness, faith in the miracle alive. Thomas Aquinas (13th century) also emphasized the importance of spiritual gifts and miracles. Since the 17th century view of faith and hope about the time of miracle grow back more rapidly. Some characters, among others, John Owen (17th century), Abraham Kuyper (19th century), John Wesley and Benjamin Warfiel (20th century). But the reaction of the pros and cons are also always accompany this supernatural phenomenon.

Broadly speaking, the view of the Church is divided into two: those who believe in miracles still take place and the group that believes a miracle has passed. We do not have to wonder. Wesley Noel survey conducted in the United States (1976) to students of theology stratum-2, showed only 54% of the students of Master of Divity who believe in miracles. Students of Master of Theology, worse, only 37%.

At the time of the Lord Jesus, miracles of healing be one means of preaching the love of God to man. Jesus healed many people around. Peter Youngren asserts that: "Healing is part of the ministry of Jesus and still remain part of the ministry to this day." There are three main activities performed by Jesus during his earthly life, namely: teaching (teaching), preaching (Preaching) and cure (healing).
If we go back to the Bible, actually heal the sick is one God-given power of Jesus to His disciples as a mandate and a sign in the proclamation of the Great Commission - Matthew 28:19-20, Mark 16:15-18, 1 Peter 2 : 24.

There are many methods used to obtain divine healing. Healing through medicine / medical. Healing directly from God (divine healing). How divine healing (miracle) happen? Some argue that it is the sovereignty of God. What can man do to prepare your heart and faith is a stickler. Healing is an absolute right of God. Jesus did it because of compassion. To create compassion, it needs no clearance hearts. And, divine healing (miracles) it happens because there is God's purpose is more meaningful than just heal. However, the recovery effort there is also a factor. "Adamant" such as Bartimaeus and the Syro-Phoenician woman is also important. There is a quality of faith. As it turns out not only the sovereignty of God disposes, but also the quality of faith as a manifestation of the desire to heal.

What if the healing does not happen? Had many times prayed and prayed, but healing does not go there. Overall it is in the hands of God as a healer. We do not know what the barrier. If the pain has been faithful and faithful servant of God, healing can happen right away. But it could also be a process. There are times when not healed because God had a purpose and plan behind the pain experienced by someone. Thus, the disease does not always have to heal even though everyone who is sick sembuh.Tetapi certainly hope it is within the sovereignty of the Lord Jesus as the Healer.
According to Reinhard Bonnke in God's book Penyembuhmu, explained the basic principles to be able to experience healing / healed. The basic principle is as follows:

First, Jesus never changes. He formerly was the one now. He is now is he who is coming for the second time into this world. He has not changed forever - Hebrews 13:8. Miracles are part of the package the gospel of Jesus Christ. Healing demonstrates the ultimate truth of Christianity and shows us who the real Jesus.

Second, Jesus had started. He came to heal. Both spiritual and physical. Healing is a major part of his mission. He went to the pool of Bethesda, close to one of the crippled and maimed. Then he saw a man blind and restore his eyesight - John 5:17; 9:3-4.

Third, His name Healer. The name of God is Jehovah Rapha, "God heal you." "God the Healer" is his name that is not only given to Israel alone, but for all people.

Fourth, God would justify the wrong. Romans 8 promises that the whole creation will be released from destruction. Our self-recovery mechanism has been damaged. People are becoming sick and God is not pleased with it. That is why Jesus came into the world to justify a wrong by His sacrifice on the cross. Through His sacrifice, all curable diseases.

Fifth, God's mercy for all people. In fact, the first to experience divine healing is the Philistines - Genesis 20. God also healed Naaman, general of the Syrians, from leprosy - 2 Kings 5. God also sent Elijah to the widow at Zarephath and maintain it during the famine. This shows that Jesus cares about everyone. Ministry of healing performed by Jesus are based on a deep compassion to those suffering, both physical and spiritual.

Sixth, the fulfillment of the promises of God. Every time Christ heals someone, it is a promise. Healing is the largest part of the ministry of Jesus. Wrote the Gospel of Jesus healing a lot of work in the past to arouse faith, enthusiasm and encouragement. That is, Jesus still heals the day!

Seventh, Jesus is able and willing. We learn that he is capable and willing to do it. "Jesus reached out His hand, touched him and said," I will, be thou made clean. "Immediately his leprosy than purified man" - Matthew 8:1-3. The sentence "I will" reflect his desire to heal.

Eighth, Christ introduced the kingdom of God on earth. Kingdom of God is something supernatural and the power to lay aside the things natural. Human hands can make something extraordinary happens, as well as the hand of God. Jesus brought the power of heavenly for humans on earth. Christianity is a miracle.

Ninth, He died for us. "He Himself took our infirmities and bear our sicknesses" - Matthew 8:17. God created the heavens and the earth. Jesus overcame death. He did not succumb to paralysis or cancer pain. His power able to recover and heal completely. In the same book, God Penyembuhmu, Reinhard Bonnke describes five ways to obtain divine healing.

Ways mentioned include:
First, by laying on of hands - Mark 16:18. This is the normal pattern of unbiblical. The hands of an ordinary human being can bring miraculous changes in people sick. How? Humans become distributors of His blessings. Divine power works through human beings. It is an important principle, which works through all His creation. Laying on of hands with love and power of God produces miracles. We plant, grow God. We lay hands, he is healed. We preach, He who saves.

Second, pray when suffering. Divine healing is a branch of the topic of prayer. Thousands of people have been cured when they prayed. God always hears your prayers. God gives gifts to a servant who was responsible for bringing healing to people who have been praying. You pray, God sent an answer through them.

Third, we can be cured without doing anything. God touched the little children and babies who can not understand. He healed those who are too sick to be thinking. They can not do anything, but they recovered by the work of God the Almighty. Sometimes God does not wait until we act. He did what he had to do - he healed.

Fourth, through the faith of others - James 5:14-16. Someone brought to Jesus to be carried by four friends. "When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic: 'Tell Me I'm saying, Arise, take up your mat and go home' And he went away out in front of those people" - Mark 2:1-12.
Fifth, through our own faith. This brings us to something that is considered important for many people. Jesus explains that faith is not a matter of size - Luke 17:5-6. In an age of technology as it is now possible he will say, "If ye have faith just as thin as a wire fuse, electric voltage is full of God will flow through you." But distrust can make the fuse is broken, not the voltage from God.
