Answer: "I'm basically a good person, so I'll go to heaven." "OK, so I do some things that are not good, but I do more good things, so I'll go to heaven. '" God will not send me to hell just because I do not live according to what the Bible says. Times have changed! "" Only those who truly evil, like people who like to interfere with the children and murderers go to hell. "
These are the reasons that people often put forward, but in reality, they are all lies. Satan, the ruler of the world, plants these thoughts in our heads. He, and everyone who followed his way, is the enemy of God (1 Peter 5:8). The devil is always like a good person (2 Corinthians 11:14), but he mastered all the thoughts that do not belong to God "that is, people who do not believe, whose minds have been blinded by the god of this age, so they do not see the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God (2 Corinthians 4:4).
Is a lie to say that God does not care about small sins, and that hell is reserved for the "bad guys." All kinds of sin separates us from God, including the "little white lie." Every person has sinned and no one is can get into heaven by his own efforts (Romans 3:23). Going to heaven is not based on whether the good of us more than our iniquities. If that size, we will all lose. "But if it happens by grace, then it is no longer by works, because if not, then grace would no longer be grace" (Romans 11:6). No good deed we can do to bring us to heaven (Titus 3:5). "Enter by the narrow door, because the broad is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it" (Matthew 7:13). Even if all the people living in sin and not many who believe in God, God will not accept it as an excuse. "You live in it, because you followed the ways of this world, because you obey the ruler of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience (Ephesians 2:2). Read more...
When God created the world, perfect world. Everything was good. Then He created Adam and Eve and gave them free will so that they can choose to follow and obey God or not. But Adam and Eve, the first man created by God, tempted by Satan to disobey God and they sinned. Consequently they (and all the people born then, including us) can not have a close relationship with God. Then the Lord opened the way so that we can be united with Him in heaven. "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life (John 3:16). "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord" (Romans 6:23). Jesus was born so that He can show the way to us and died for our sins so that we do not need to die. Three days after His death, Jesus rose from the grave (Romans 4:25), proving His victory over death. He bridged the gap between God and man so that we can have a personal relationship with God if we want to believe.
"This is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom thou hast sent" (John 17:3). Most people believe about God, including Satan. But to be saved, we need to turn to God, a personal relationship with Him, turn from our sins and follow Him. We must believe in Jesus in all that we have and do. "God allows humans to be kind to him, only if people believe in Jesus Christ. God did this for all who believe in Christ, for there is no difference "(Romans 3:22). The Bible teaches us that there is no other way to salvation than through Christ. Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. "(John 14:6).
Jesus is the only way of salvation because He is the only one who can pay the debt of our sin (Romans 3:23). No other religion teaches it and the seriousness of our sin and its consequences. There is no religion that offers the payment of sin as provided by Jesus. There is no "religious founder" Another is the incarnate God (John 1:1, 14 - the only way to pay off the debt of sin. Jesus to be God so that He could pay our debts. Jesus had to be a human so that He could die . Salvation is available through faith in Jesus Christ! "And there is no salvation in anyone else except in Him, because under heaven there is no other name given to men by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12 ).
