What is the Plan of Salvation?

Answer: Are you hungry? Not physically hungry, but if you are hungry for a better life? Is there something inside you that never satisfied? If so, Jesus is the way. Jesus said, "I am the bread of life; whoso cometh unto me, he will not be hungry anymore, and whoever believes in Me, he will not be thirsty again" (John 6:35).
Are you confused? Do you never seem to find a path of life? Do you like living in darkness and you can not find the switch? If so, Jesus is the way. Jesus said, "I am the light of the world; whoever follow me, he will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life" (John 8:12). Do you feel locked? You tried various doors, and that you find is emptiness and the things that mean nothing? Are you looking for the entrance to the abundant life? If so, Jesus is the way! Jesus said, "I am the door; whoever enter through Me, he will be safe and he would go in and out and find pasture" (John 10:9). Do other people disappoint you? Have your relationships been shallow and empty? Do you feel that everyone is trying to take advantage of you? If so, Jesus is the way. Jesus said, "I am the good shepherd. Are you thinking about what happens after you die? Are you tired with the things that only rot or rust? Do you sometimes doubt whether life has any meaning? Do you want to live after death? If so, Jesus is the way! Jesus declared, "I am the resurrection and the life who believes in Me, he will live even though he is dead, and everyone who lives and who believe in me, will not die for ever" (John 11:25-26) . What is the way? What is truth? What is life? Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father but through Me" (John 14:6). Famine that you feel is a spiritual hunger, and can only be nourished by Jesus. Jesus is the One- only one that can illuminate your darkness. Jesus is the gate to abundant life. Jesus is the friend and shepherd that you have been looking for. Jesus is the life - present and future. Jesus is the Way of salvation!
The cause of your hunger, the causes of the darkness that surrounds your life, the cause of your failure to get the meaning of life, all of it is because you are separated from God. The Bible tells us that we all have sinned and are therefore separated from God (Ecclesiastes 7:20, Romans 3:23). The void you feel in your heart is God missing from your life. We were created to relate to God. Because of our sin, we can not have that relationship. What's worse, our sin will cause us to be separated from God for eternity, in this life and thereafter (Romans 6:23, John 3:36). How can this problem be solved? Jesus is the way. Jesus took our sins (2 Corinthians 5:21). Jesus died in our place (Romans 5:8), taking the punishment that we deserve. Three days later Jesus rose from the dead, proving His victory over sin and death (Romans 6:4-5). Why did He do it? Jesus himself answered this question, "There is no greater love than the love of a man who gave his life for his friends" (John 15:13). Jesus died so that we can live. If we have faith in Jesus, trusting His death as payment for our sins, all sins are forgiven and cleansed. Our spiritual hunger will be nourished. Lights will be turned. We will get way to abundant life. We will know a true friend and our good Shepherd. We will know that we will have life after leaving this world, life in the resurrection with Jesus in heaven forever.
"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life" (John 3:16).
