Visionary Leader to Be Self Affirming 1

"In the year ... ... .... I saw the Lord sitting on a throne high and exalted, and the corner of his robe to meet the temple "(Isaiah 6:1). Introduction What is the real vision? Whether the vision is the monopoly of those who called it visionary? There is a saying that visionary leaders alone have the vision, the vision sedangkang not exist in ordinary people. What exactly is happening? Almost to be expected that people who like this tend to say that he did not have a vision for several reasons. First, people often find it difficult to know as well as vision because they basically do not understand it very well. Secondly, From another perspective, people also often do not understand what and where the source of that vision, a vision of where it came, how to know it and what a way to explore and develop it within ourselves? Third, the vision is often equated with a dream, so people find it difficult. [1] In discussing the subject about VISION, then there are seven basic conversations that will be discussed in this chapter. The principal conversation was seventh among others: 1. VISION What exactly is it? 2. Characteristics of VISION., 3. Signs of VISION., 4. Digging VISION., 5. VISION and FAITH., 6. Dividing VISION. and 7. Vision and Change. [2] WHAT IS THE REAL VISION? You certainly have to know that there are many definitions and understanding of the VISION in the literature. The term comes from the word VISION VISION (English), which is rooted from the word visoum (Middle Classic), and vision (Old France) derived from the Latin visio, vision, videre, which is essentially meaning "to see or look." Meaning More of this vision is "the act or power of seeing with the eyes; or intuitive abilities to see." Vision can also mean "the ability to see more than the normal state, which is a mental ability to mengimajinasi; and the ability to see and understand things that are invisible to ordinary people , and so on. 'vision as described above explains about the power of ourselves to see as the vision is to see. [3] Now the question arises, namely, the sense of vision like this, is there clarity about what exactly the substance of that vision? Perhaps this question can be simplified, ie, "if the vision means to look, what is really seen?" Which means to see this vision does not explain what is actually seen it, so the notion of vision itself needs to be clarified. From a substantive perspective, VISION can be defined as follows: "VISION is the ability to see the desire scriptures written by the Creator in the mind (in order to answer the need) are closely related to the fulfillment of one's life or any individual for any self-organization would lead. "[4] definition vision presented above refers to God as the source and giver of vision [5] which he did by writing them in the mind of every person. [6] The vision also explains the ability to see what has been written by God in the mind of each person. The vision given by God has a definite goal for the fulfillment of life, nor the lives of individuals, households want any group and leadership. Understanding of the definition of such a vision can be connected with the opinion of George Barna as saying that "Vision is a clear and precise mental portrait of preferable future, imparted by God to His chosen servants, based on accurate understanding of God, self and circumstances." [7] understanding of vision as confirmed by this exclusive Christian Barna, who also put God as the source of that vision. On the other hand there is the emphasis given to the leader, who has the ability to see clearly defined vision, where eventually he can know with certainty what God revealed about the future that will be entered later. In regard to the sense of vision as described above and connected with the leadership, then it can be said that, "the leader's vision of leadership is the ability to see and understand the desire scriptures written by God in his mind for the organization and its leadership." The meaning of this vision as clear refers to God as the source of vision, which by his sovereignty he wrote that holy desire in the mind of each leader for the organization and leadership. Here can be found in the vision that there is a special will of God for the leadership of a leader. On the other hand, the vision is also described as the leader's ability to see clearly what was written by God in his mind to do. In this regard, God often gives written confirmation of his vision through a variety of ways. He can express that vision to be seen by the leader through dreams [8] (Joseph, Daniel, Paul, etc.) or intuitive revelation directly or through crucial events such as the Nehemiah with news of the destruction of Jerusalem or Esther with the news of death threats for his people. Vision can also be expressed through the dynamic interaction in a group of people [9] are involved in a leadership that seeks to find answers together to answer any question "why do they exist as an organization." The truth about the VISION is confirmed by Andy Stanley, saying: "Vision- vision born in the soul of a man or woman who presented to the suspense of what is actually there and what can happen. "[10] The things that can be considered in the explanation above is Stanley: Vision began to appear with the need was faced with conditions is not satisfactory. From here Vision starts to assert itself. The need was mentioned refers to vision as a basis to give her the answer. Felt needs and unsatisfactory conditions are then developed into a clear mental picture of "what can happen from what is there." Revelation is increasingly becoming clear vision with a strong conviction for what might have happened than what there was. [ 11] With the revelation of this vision that the leaders can then understand the vision that is written by God in his mind. CHARACTERISTICS OF VISION In an attempt to answer what exactly VISION it, reflected on the question of "What are the basic characteristics of the VISION that?" Questions about the characteristics of this vision can be answered by listening to the following explanation: Vision Divine nature, originating from God, who wrote the holy desire in the mind of each invidu. Rick Warren says, "You only exist Because God Wills That you exist. You were made by God and for God - and until you understand that, life will never make sense. "[12] In this connection, the Bible provides a clear example of the call of Jeremiah, where God himself who confirmed to him to understand the desire of this sacred ( Appeal: Jeremiah 1:4-10., Colossians 1:16 b, etc.). [13] VISION explain about 'why you were THERE' (Esse), and what the PURPOSE (purpose) your presence, as well as' which way '(life objective) of your life focused' (dealing with welfare bene Esse or coveted). Vision in this sense describes the specific purpose of sustainability there's any individual who provides a sense of purpose and a clear focus on him. Thus, when he found a sense of purpose and focus of this, it then can be different to achieve the goal of life for themselves like any organization he leads. In this connection, you must consider the factors mentioned here when formulating the vision. [14] VISION To be first (life root), now (now) and tomorrow (future)., For that you need to explore, dream, and see it clearly and take it as a basis for life and your leadership. VISION is pleased with the basic necessities of life, associated with the interests of "personal and leadership in an organization." The truth is asserted that the true vision will be objective, profitable and pragmatic for many people, the vision must always take the good and benefit to many parties, because the true vision has an altruistic element. [15] VISION opened my eyes to see the current strengths and the things that might be achieved in the future, and encouraged to jump into deep water. True Vision will help everyone to understand that he has the strength within themselves to act forward into the future. SIGNS OF VISION After studying the characteristics of vision as has been described, now you can merpindah to see signs of vision. [16] There are several signs that can help to identify the vision. The signs are as follows: VISION usually yelling loudly (in mind) but can not be uttered, because closely related to the fundamental needs that will bring benefit to themselves and others. [17] The first sign explains that the so-called vision that has the power to greatly influence the mind of each individual . The strength of this vision is to make individuals aware that it has something to strive for it, even if at first it was difficult to share it with others. VISION it will continue to excite the mind with the higher frequencies. True Vision will always provide the dynamics for the individual (leader), where he will continue to light up and become dynamic by the vision. VISION is single as the basis for the sole focus in life and leadership. Beausay William II said, "One is the strong numbers." A man may have some vision for themselves, households want any job or career and leadership, but any vision should be referred to a single, so he can be understood and done in a focused way. VISION encouraged to establish attention that leads to one direction (goals)., Which explains the existence of the 'sense of purpose.' In this respect gives focus vision so that it encourages leaders to understand the purpose for which the vision was given. VISION encourage instinct of thinking that continues to make sense to find a way out to the focus (which is burning in the mind and mind) to answer any related needs. VISION To be in harmony with the real potential that exist in a person. Real potential is often not realized now, but there are clear signs. In other words, vision can be called a true vision for harmony with the real potential within the individual (leader). Sumber: Pdt. DR. Yakob Tomatala
